One of my favorite drives in the west coast has to be the Pacific Coast Highway. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the opportunity to do this drive while growing up in the bay area until I got older. Now i’m always eager to visit home to do this trip again. We only covered the central coast, so i’m hoping to take this drive all the way down next time!
Recently, I got invited to Montauk to celebrate the launch of The Citizenry’s latest line of linens! It was my first time in Montauk and I loved everything about it. We spent the week detoxing, indulging in fresh, delicious seafood, and enjoying the beautiful weather.
After finishing up a roadtrip through the PNW, Andy and I decided to take on another roadtrip to explore the East Coast! We moved here in March and haven't took the time to explore the neighboring states so chasing the fall foliage was the perfect opportunity.
Phuket is popularly known for their beaches situated along the clear waters of the Western Shore of Thailand. Initially, our plan coming to Phuket was to do just that--lounge along the white sand beaches and relax. Instead, we stumbled upon a beautiful Villa Resort and our plans quickly changed. My cousin and I had the luxury of staying at the Villa Zolitude Phuket for two nights, placed on the tops of these hills tucked in the jungle, and Hotel Ikon Phuket.
During our trip in Bali we had the pleasure of experiencing a nights' stay at the Rimba Jimbaran by Ayana. Sitting on 90-hectare grounds of AYANA, Rimba offers a luxury 5-star experience that you wouldn't want to leave from! They offer a variety of activities such as golfing, cooking classes, bicycle tours, and many more. There are also 12 swimming pools and spa complexes spanning across both resorts if you just want to relax.
Once upon a time, there was a girl from New York and her cousin from Seattle who yearned visiting a city they haven't visited in a while (or ever). This is when Chicago came into their radar and the opportunity arose when they had the opportunity to visit The Windy City for a week to kick off their summer.
If you read my last post, you would've seen that Andy & I decided to take a weekend trip to D.C. this weekend! We took a bus there and arrived around midnight Friday night so we ended up resting and starting the day early on Saturday. We started our day with a matcha latte at Grace Street Coffee located in Georgetown and it was so yummy!
Back when Andy & I used to live in California, we would always go on weekend trips to surrounding cities and states outside of Oakland, Ca. Since moving to New York four months ago, we decided to keep the weekend ritual going by visiting cities and states surrounding the busy city. This weekend, we chose the state's capital -- Washington D.C! It was my first time being there in 10 years, and Andy's first!
If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (if you're not then why not?!) then you would've seen that right after my six week-long trip to Asia I flew straight from New York to Seattle where I joined Andy and some friends on a roadtrip along the PNW. They started their journey in Banff and made their way down to where I eventually met with them. Here are some pictures from the trip!
